Who We Are
Thembalethu SDA Church is a vibrant congregation located in Gugulethu, Cape Town. Rooted in God’s Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are committed to proclaiming the everlasting gospel, nurturing spiritual growth, and engaging in loving service to our community.
We are part of the global Seventh-day Adventist movement, upholding Bible truth, the Sabbath, and the soon return of Jesus Christ. Our church is a spiritual home for families, youth, and individuals seeking deeper purpose, healing, and hope in Christ.
At Thembalethu, you’ll experience heartfelt worship, Bible-centered teaching, strong youth leadership, and a sense of family that welcomes all people.

Our Ministries
We believe that every believer has a role in God's mission. Our ministries aim to equip, empower, and engage every member for service and growth:
- Pathfinder & Adventurer Clubs: Life skills and spiritual growth for children and teens.
- Youth Ministry: Empowering youth through fellowship, service, and faith-building programs.
- Women’s Ministries: Supporting women in spiritual leadership and community service.
- Family Life: Strengthening homes through biblical teaching and support.
- Community Outreach: Health expos, food drives, and neighborhood assistance.
- Music & Worship: Leading worship with heart and harmony through gifted voices and instruments.
